About OllieTime
OllieTime is provided by AB15 Media and Technology Limited (SC902666), 38 West Craigbank Crescent, Aberdeen AB15 9AU, United Kingdom. Contact support@ab15mediatech.com. A parent or guardian must set up the family, manage purchases and choose its saved videos.
OllieTime helps you organise a curated list of YouTube videos. It is not a secure kiosk, a childproof browser or a substitute for adult supervision. We cannot guarantee that a child will be unable to reach other videos, websites, apps or content.
YouTube content and links
OllieTime uses YouTube API Services and the official YouTube player. By using these features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy explains Google’s processing.
YouTube controls its content, advertisements, recommendations, links and player behaviour. These may change after you save a video. Videos may become unavailable. Made for Kids is a YouTube designation, not an OllieTime assessment of suitability for your child; review videos yourself.
Player links may open the YouTube app if installed, or a browser. OllieTime is not sponsored, endorsed or operated by YouTube or Google. YouTube and its logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
Setting up child devices
We strongly recommend removing the YouTube app from child devices and preventing reinstallation without a parent. In our device testing, a player link could open YouTube and its audio could continue behind a Screen Time shield. This may vary by device and software version.
Use Child Device Protection to shield Safari, the default browser and other installed browsers. Check the setup on each child device and test playback and external links before handing it over. These steps reduce routes to other content; they do not guarantee complete protection. Removing YouTube is a recommendation, not a requirement to enable protection.
Keep your Parent PIN and recovery phrase private. If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, make sure everyone whose biometrics are enrolled on that device is authorised to use Parent Mode.
Trial, price and renewal
OllieTime Family is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. New customers are asked to start a subscription to begin using OllieTime; eligible customers receive the introductory trial shown by Apple. The app retrieves current prices from Apple. Apple’s confirmation sheet shows the applicable price, trial or offer, and purchase terms before you confirm.
An eligible trial lasts 14 days and converts to the paid monthly subscription unless cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Cancel in Apple’s subscription settings at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends to avoid the next charge. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access available until that period ends.
Returning subscribers see a resubscribe option in OllieTime rather than another trial promotion. Apple determines introductory-offer eligibility and the final purchase terms. Restoring purchases does not create a new subscription or charge.
Apple handles billing, subscription management and refund requests. Deleting OllieTime or deleting a family does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Connecting your family
Devices using the same OllieTime family must have downloaded the app using the same App Store account. Their iCloud accounts may differ. Apple Family Sharing alone does not connect a different App Store download account to the family.
When a new iCloud account first connects, keep OllieTime open on the device that created the family until the connection finishes. Connected devices share family content; parents can manage it through Parent Mode.
When paid access ends
If a subscription expires, a parent must approve showing all the children’s saved videos together in one free library. Separate child folders are hidden. Adding videos by any method, including sharing from YouTube, requires an active subscription. Parent controls, protection settings and family deletion remain available.
Child folders and assignments remain saved in iCloud unless deleted. Resubscribing restores them. If a parent removes a video in the free library, all its saved copies are removed and it will not return when you resubscribe. If the family has been deleted, a new family must be set up.
When expiry is confirmed during playback, the change to the free library waits until the child leaves playback. When confirmed outside playback, a parent is asked to continue. Confirmation of subscription changes can take time to reach the app.
Service and your rights
OllieTime needs an internet connection, iCloud and supported Apple services. Availability also depends on YouTube and your device settings. Contact support if something is not working; do not delete family data as a troubleshooting step unless you intend to remove it.
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies to the app. These terms explain the OllieTime service and do not exclude or limit rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
